Clicker Training "Quoits"

I'll write today how I taught Toui "Quoits" with Clicker.I'm asked Questions about it.I'll explain it with pleasure.

Firstly,your Cockatiel must understand the Causal Relationship between Clicker and Rewards.The Rewards should be favorite Foods of your Cockatiel.When You give Rewards to your Cockatiel after a Click, she understands the Causal Relationship.This ist the Basic Training for all another Clicker Trainings.You schould teach it well untill she understands it.In the Case that your Cockatiel does recognize it not clearly,you may go into a concrete Training with her.A Click will meen "Good" for her.

It's the second Stage that she understands Causal Relationship between Clicker and Ring.You schould put a Ring and Pole in a Place and schould bring her there.When she touches the Ring,you schould give a Click and then Rewards.You schould train her,untill she understand it.When she lift the Ring up,you schould do samely.

It's the last Stage that she understands Causal Relationship between Clicker and Quoits.You schould keep the Ring over the Pole with your fingers.When your Cockatiel touches it,you should take your fingers off the Ring.And then you should give the Rewards aufter a Click.When you teach it enough,you may put the Ring by the Pole again.Your Cockatiel must begin Quoits.My Cockatiel realy enjoys it.

Flying

My Cockatiel Fubu can't fly well.He has no Problem about his Health.But he doesn't like flying.When he will fly, he does a warm-up exercise before his flying.You can see the exercise in the Video.He does it,becoause he hesitates flying.I think that he is so fat to fly well.

As Touille took a Shower, I found that she couldn't fly well with her wet Body.Wet Body disturbed her Flying, because Water made her Body heavy.She flyed slowly,as if she were Fubu.

It's not easy to put ihm on a diet, because he lives in the same Cage with Toui.

I believe that Clicker Trainings can be good exercises for Fubu.

My Cockatiel's Name"Touille"

My Cockatiel Touille says sometimes "Touille!"
But I think that she doesn't understand this word as her name.
When she was still a baby,I asked her what she would take as her name.
She answered me "Touille!" I have called her Touille oder Toui since that time.
But she has misunderstood the meening of Touille.
I found that she meens Sadness or Loneliness with this word.
When she twittered "Touille!",I came to her quickly,because this twitter pleased me.

I blieve that she thinks that I come to her with this twitter.
When I get off from the Room, She says "Touille!",or when I let her alone.
Her "Touille" sounds a little sadly in such a situation.
She says this word,also when I stay by her, if she will play with me.
I think that she means with this word "I need you!"

It's very interesting for me.
Man can find it easily,how a cockatiel is pleased and gets angry.
But it's not so easy to understand Sadness or Loneliness of Cockatiel.

My Cockatiel Toui has learned Basketball in Clicker Training.
Fubu was an audience today.
He was watching us quietly on the perch.
He didn't take the Rewards for her.

It’s a application of Trainings in the past.
Some Trainings ware more difficult.

She shot the Ball continually without Rewards.
I didn’t teach it.I think that she really enjoys this play.
She shot the Ball 7 times without Rewards,though I showed her Rewards.

Cockatiels taking a Sunbath

My Cockatiels has taken a Sunbath on the beranda in the morning.
Take a look at the picture! They bask in the sun just like in the shower.
They look very well after the Sunbath.They twitter more than usually.
But man should be careful not to leave them under the Sun.
Direct rays of the sun kill Cockatiels within 10 minutes sometimes.
If Cockatiels breath heavily,it's too hot for them.
When I was a Beginner,for once,I lief a Cockatiel for a little while alone.
It was a mistake.
I faund then that she breathed heavily.She was saved.
I did take it not so seriously at that time,to bring Cockatiels in the Sun.

Man should make a shade for Cockatiels in the cage
and should stay with them always,when they take a Sunbath.
Wenn man stays with them,man can protect them also from flesh-eating animals.
Predetory Animals are not only Egle or Cat but also snakes.
Snakes can come easily on the Veranda.
Actualy,my aunt lost her budgerigars in a accident with Snake,
when she lief her Bird in a Sunbth for a little while alone.
